Ingredient Spotlight: Edelweiss Extract
Edelweiss, also known as “star of the Alps” and considered a symbol of purity and immortality, is a magical Swiss flower that grows high up in the mountains, often at altitudes above 10,000 feet. Given its environment (strong UV exposure, above the treeline, extreme temperatures), this flower is an expert in self-protection and contains a high content of active compounds such as leontopodic acid and other powerful antioxidants.
When used in skin care formulations, the benefits of edelweiss extract include:

- Enhancing its resistance to external stress factors
- Protecting the skin from the sun (it absorbs UV rays)
